Will my policy cover parts and labour for repairs?
Yes. Unless otherwise stated in your policy, we cover the cost of parts and labour for authorised repairs up to £1,000 per claim. If your policy includes an excess, this must be paid before we can process your claim.
Is there a waiting period before I can claim?
Yes, there’s a 30-day exclusion period from your policy start date or from the date you add a new appliance to your cover.
What happens if my tumble dryer is beyond repair?
If your appliance is beyond economic repair and has been covered by us for at least 6 continuous months, we’ll provide vouchers towards a replacement:
- Up to 5 years old – current retail price (up to £1,000).
- Over 5 years old – value reduced by 10% depreciation per year.
- Over 10 years old – no replacement contribution.
Note: There is no cash alternative, and the amount provided is subject to policy limits.
