Will my policy cover parts and labour for repairs?
Yes, unless otherwise stated in your terms and conditions, you’re covered for the cost of parts and labour up to £1,000 per claim. If your policy has an excess, it must be paid before we process your claim.
How quickly can you repair my oven?
We aim to arrange most repairs within 24–48 hours of your approved claim. Response times depend on engineer availability and parts supply. Exceptional events, such as severe weather, may cause delays, but we’ll keep you updated.
Do you cover accidental damage?
Our standard oven insurance covers mechanical and electrical breakdowns. Accidental damage is only included if your policy specifically states this in your schedule.
What if my oven is beyond repair?
If your oven is beyond economic repair, we’ll provide vouchers towards a replacement, subject to policy limits and appliance age. There’s no cash alternative.
- Ovens up to 5 years old: vouchers for the current retail price of a similar model (up to £1,000).
- Ovens over 5 years old: vouchers based on current value, minus 10% annual depreciation.
- Ovens over 10 years old: no contribution is made.
Can I get cover for older ovens?
Ovens must be no more than 7 years old when the policy starts and no more than 10 years old at renewal.
Is there a waiting period before I can claim?
Yes, a 30-day claim exclusion applies from your policy start date or the date you add a new appliance to your cover.
How do I make a claim?
