Boiler insurance ensures that your boiler and central heating system are protected and maintained regularly. If any of the appliances fail, then be assured that you will have someone to contact. If something goes wrong with your boiler, the insurance policy will repair the faults and might also cover the cost of repairs. Boiler insurance provides access to a trained, Gas Safe heating specialist who will come to your home in an emergency and repair your boiler. This coverage includes annual boiler service that will increase the chances of your boiler operating smoothly and efficiently.

Like any appliance, boilers lose efficiency and become more prone to issues over time, leading to higher gas bills and frequent breakdowns. Eventually, the cost of repairs may outweigh its value, making it Beyond Economic Repair (BER).

Some providers won’t cover older boilers, but we do at 24|7 Home Rescue. If repairs cost £250 or less and parts are available, we’ll carry them out. In case your boiler is deemed BER or can’t be repaired, we’ll offer you boiler replacement options, subject to our terms and conditions.

We’ve been regulated by the FCA since 2021 so, with our insurance products, you have greater levels of consumer protection and access to the Financial Ombudsman and Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

To book your boiler service, simply get in touch with our service booking team or schedule your appointment online through your My Account page. In most cases, you can choose a time that works best for you (subject to availability).

We typically schedule boiler services from April to September, so availability may be more limited during the colder months when we’re focused on emergency repairs and breakdowns.

There is no limit for claims. At 24|7 Home Rescue you get unlimited claims and call outs.
